The Singing Event offers sections covering Classical, Australian Song, Folk Songs, Music Theatre, Popular Songs and Duets. There is also a category for Any Song (does not include Music Theatre, Popular, Arias, Oratorio or Cantata). Open sections for competitors 18 years and Under has now been expanded to six sections.

The Piano Event offers sections covering contemporary, classical, improvisation, chamber music and period compositions across both age and grading classifications. The Piano Event with the support of the ACT Keyboard Association thanks our sponsors for their ongoing financial support of the division.

The Australian National Eisteddfod’s 2022 Bands & Orchestras event took place in an online format, due to COVID risk factors. A total of 56 groups submitted recordings for adjudication and received feedback on their performances.
