The Piano Event offers sections covering contemporary, classical, improvisation, chamber music and period compositions across both age and grading classifications.

Please note – Section P121 has been amended to
Section P121 – 12 Years and under Piano Solo – *Canberra based entrants – Entry fee $25
A work from the Classical period, any composer
Time limit – 8 minutes
First Prize: Trophy + $30 Second and Third Prizes: Medal
*Please note this section is not restricted and is open to all Canberra based students who may have won a first place in any Piano Solo sections in previous Australian National Eisteddfod.
